The Forums Blew Up.

| Not really. I deleted it and made a new centralized forum so I didn't have three plus forums around. I'll be doing the same with the website, so this one should go kaputz sometime soon as well.

I'm yet again in the middle of revamping the website's content. For now, all content is processed through CuteNews because 1. I'm too lazy to bother HTMLing entire pages and 2. Content is easier to edit this way.
Most of the site's content has been removed. This is because most of them were outdated and I've been meaning to do some changes on them for some time now. I'll repost them when they're ready, but in the meantime, I try to release tidbits of the game every now and then on the forums so be sure to check it out. The galleries were also cleared out. I'll be adding any submitted artwork as unlockable content in the game, so I don't want to give everything out all at once on the website. Yes, it's a cheap-ass feature to have in a game. But it's tradition. Every VN has it. I'm going with the flow. :>

Back to Square One.
Posted on 08 Oct 2007
Or one and a half. After a long period of inactivity both on my part and several of the team, I feel it's time to pick up on work. My first order of business is restructuring.
It's unfortunate, but the only people on the team I still manage to have contact with are character artists Irene, May, and scenery artist Nikka.
Our mech artist Bradley hasn't been much in touch and hasn't really produced anything outside the proposed prototype anyway. I'm considering getting Gio again since I can contact him easier than Bradley but it's really all up to him whether or not he'd like to help out again. We have five of the eight required Aegis designs finished so far.
Our lack of committed spriters has hampered development a lot. I've compromised so much to the point that the only part of the game planned to have spriting of any kind would be during battle and even then, the sprites required for it still seem like a tall order.
In the scripting side of things, we lost a potentially good scripter in Selwyn and Baskinein just seemed to vanish into thin air. The battle system which I believe was the most complex thing we had to script is at least finished, however I'd still like a scripter on call to help out with the other additions I'd like added.
We need musicians too, but that's a low priority request for now. I'll probably only start seriously looking for one later on.
If you think you could help us out or if you know anyone who'd like to, please do contact me right away. Or you could sign up here and post. :> |
